When you are trying to build a student ministry and you want to do it right, it starts by starting slow and finding out what will work and not work with the students in the area. Using the tools that are out there like texting, myspace, facebook and instant messanger are great tools to start communicating and interacting with students. The students will tell you idea’s over texting and will not do it face to face. This is the first thing in build a ministry to Students from the Ground Up.

I think this is a great idea for communicating with students. Not just for getting ideas from them, but also for getting to know them. You have to speak in their language.
